At Fincas El Paraíso, our purpose is to create ecological and sustainable habitats in each of the spaces where we produce and to enhance everything that nature gives back to us.

That's why we created Molino Fincas El Paraíso, where through stone milling we produce flour from ancient grains, high oleic sunflower oil, dry pasta, and much more.

Our project provides an ecological perspective

We use natural resources in a balanced way, taking care of soil life to make the processes of nutrient formation used in food production more efficient. Additionally, it ties in with sustainable economics by making good use of money, maintaining a low carbon footprint in each production unit, and keeping prices affordable, among other factors.

FINCAS EL PARAISO was born out of the challenge to unite two fundamental aspects of people’s lives: organic agriculture and sustainable economics by caring for nature, reconnecting people with the most subtle aspect of life: food.

Our project uses as its theoretical framework the new social paradigm of systemic focus, which primarily provides an ecological, agroecological, biodynamic, and organic perspective. According to this approach, the economy is a living system composed of human beings and social organizations in continuous interaction with the environmental systems on which our lives depend.

The goal of the new economic thinking is to foster development through achieving maximum human well-being, which relates to health and human needs; mental, emotional, and spiritual matters; and social and ecological balances.

In the rented fields where FINCAS EL PARAISO produces, we prioritize soil care above all activities, returning organic matter through natural preparations, thereby achieving a double benefit for the community. On the one hand, we avoid using synthetic chemicals (agrotoxins) that contaminate and poison the soil, air, and water and are highly harmful to all living beings in the ecosystem. On the other hand, we carefully transform the raw material by meticulously studying the process, such as determining the most suitable milling method to ensure cereals retain their nutritional benefits when changing state.

FINCAS EL PARAISO produces cereals to process into whole wheat flour, whole rye flour, buckwheat flour, spelt flour, dry pasta, and high oleic sunflower oil. We also produce agroecological pastures for livestock.

Our proposal is to reconnect everyone with the earth, the universe, and the community

by applying the knowledge of our grandparents, incorporating modern practices in the use of agricultural and economic technology through interdisciplinary teamwork, and thus achieving living foods in harmony with nature.
